Punto Fa, S.L., better known as Mango, is a Spanish multinational company engaged in the design, manufacture and marketing of women's, children's and men's clothing and accessories. The company, based in Barcelona, has more than 15,000 employees

Our Contribution

We work with different Mango teams to perform a double task, on the one hand in the delivery of new features of the application, and on the other hand trying to help the teams with the application of best practices in which we have extensive experience such as TDD, Trunk Base Development or incremental refactoring techniques.

Lifull Connect

The Company

Lifull Connect is one of the largest worldwide aggregators in the employment, automotive and fashion industries, as well as the largest in the real estate sector.

Our Contribution

We have been helping several Lifull Connect teams changing their work culture and improving their efficiency, both working with legacy code and on new projects, through intensive coaching, a dedicated practice program and specific trainings (TDD, code smells, refactoring, working with legacy code...).

For about three years, we have been helping several Lifull teams.

Our collaboration with Lifull Connect is proving to be a very rewarding relationship.

Buyviu

The Company

Buyviu is a marketplace that publishes products from different affiliate networks and redirects traffic to its affiliates in exchange for sales commissions. It currently operates in four countries with more than 3 million products in each of them, and the platform is ready to expand to new territories. BuyViu's added value is the ability to automatically generate presentation videos for products featuring its brands and categories, which improves its traffic attraction capacity when compared to other existing marketplaces.

Our Contribution

3 Codesai members joined this project to assume CTO related tasks, such as selecting the appropriate technologies and architectures, recruiting new talent and managing the communications between the technical department and the stakeholders. Thanks to the daily work with the company's own team (one of our core values) we were able to build a work culture that fostered practices such as pair programming, TDD or continuous integration, which led to an improvement in the obtained results.

Green Power Monitor

The Company

Over 10 years of experience offering tailor-made solutions for renewable power plants. This leading independent company manages, controls and monitors nearly 2,700 such facilities around the world, providing tools to optimize their performance to the fullest.

Our Contribution

Within the front-end team, we helped develop a SPA that constituted a real challenge due to the large amount of data to be displayed and the need to build a robust user experience (as well as visually pleasing aesthetics). As part of the GPM Plus team, Codesai's work focused on updating its management and monitoring software for large renewable energy portfolios, keeping the balance between the refactoring of legacy code (in C# and almost 10 years old) and the creation of new functionalities.

Grupo ASV

The Company

This group of service companies has extensive experience, mainly linked to the medical transport, insurance and funeral services businesses, with a strong presence in several provinces of Spain.

Our Contribution

Two of our professionals, specialized in backend and frontend, were embedded in a 14-person full-time team using Scrum to improve the company's ambulance management system. Our technological knowledge, as well as our experience in product development using XP methodologies and practices, were part of the required technical practices. These, along with good alignment within the team, allowed us to achieve the high quality demands that the project required.

Domingo Alonso Group

The Company

Its subsidiary, Aplicaciones Informáticas Domingo Alonso (AIDA), is responsible for the development and maintenance of software to manage the import, repair and sale of vehicles. The program is internationally utilized by the group's companies as well as by others in the automotive sector.

Our Contribution

Our biggest challenge was to help AIDA change its work culture. For over two years we accompanied their team, achieving an improvement both in their processes (adopting agile methodologies) and in product analysis. Our mentoring work also extended to the internalization of XP technical practices such as TDD, pair programming, continuous integration/deploy or refactoring, and object-oriented design principles such as DDD or hexagonal architecture, while at the same time generating new functionalities. All this agile transformation ended up generating positive results such as the professional growth of the members of the department and, what is more important, the generation of a culture based on continuous improvement.

Mutua Tinerfeña

The Company

Mutua Tinerfeña is an insurance company with over 85 years of experience in the field. It is currently the only insurance company from the Canary Islands operating there. It has its own software to handle its multiple products, as well as integrations with different market systems. The knowledge required to operate in this sector is very high and complex.

Our Contribution

We are helping Mutua Tinerfeña to change its work culture through a low intensity but continuous support and training (TDD, user stories, Impact Mapping...). We have been able to improve both their processes, adopting agile methodologies and improving product analysis, and their technical practices, mentoring their team in XP technical practices such as TDD, pair programming, continuous integration/deployment or refactoring.

The transformation that is taking place in Mutua Tinerfeña is proving to be very positive. At the same time, it is minimizing as much as possible the costs and chaos that the paradigm shift could generate. Their team is growing professionally little by little, internalizing the technical practices and, most of all, building a culture of "continuous improvement".

The Motion

The Company

Revolutionary start-up in the video-advertising industry, an open platform that aims to help its customers create unique video-ads from any product data, in order to quickly and easily grow their business.

Our Contribution

We helped their technical team (relatively small, between 7-10 people) through pair programming sessions in order to implement TDD and improve their knowledge of object oriented design. The outcome was rather positive. They were very satisfied, solving many questions about how to apply TDD on a daily basis as well as about testing in general.
